ArtCamp in Hamburg

Sep 24, 2008

Last Weekend the ArtCamp Hamburg took place at the University. One thing was exactly like on every other “whatever”camp - except the Women’s BarCamp. Everybody had a Macbook. Does this picture look somehow familiar to you? Jup, business as usual. The big difference here was the kind of conversation. They tried to define art.
The ArtCamp [...]

We need more video surveillance

Sep 22, 2008

At the FoeBuD Shop you can buy all kinds of RFID to video surveillance merchandise.

or how about a RFID-Scanner-Detector Bracelet? I think about getting the hooded Sweater saying:
No pictures!
I object to any recording, storage, broadcast, and other use of my image.

OMD08 - Online Marketing Fair in Düsseldorf

Sep 18, 2008

The OMD08 is over and to me it has been the best so far. It seemed like there where some problems at the entrance at the beginning but Twitter saved me. And when I arrived the queue was gone.
I liked the 360° Concept. Which means they tried to cover every aspect of Online Marketing. But [...]

Paulo Coelho is everywhere

Sep 15, 2008

I’ve talked about Viscape and how they use Social Media as a Online Company. Paulo Coelho is not necessarily connected to Social Media, as a famous Author he could as well sit in his house and use an old school typewriter and the publisher would do the rest for him. Well maybe the publisher adds [...]

Viscape, Social Media and me

Sep 10, 2008

I can’t remember when and why it started, but one day Viscape was following me on Twitter. I followed back. Every now and then a message popped up and added some more information to the rough idea the Twitter Bio had given me before. Being familiar with the name, Viscape passed my selective attention filter [...]

BarCamp for women, Munich, 30.08.2008

It could have been “Chicken Camp”, “CoffeeandCookies Camp” or “Bitching Camp” but it turned out to be exactly what we were hoping for a BarCamp for Women. Or was it even THE BarCamp for Women? I´m pretty sure it was the first one in Germany addressed to Women. Does anybody have [...]

Out of office day documentation 28.08.2008

Sep 3, 2008

This weeks idea: Private Cinema, Popcorn and the choice between two Movies.
The incredible Hulk vs. Speed Racer (if i remember right)
Well it wasn´t really a choice - at least for me - because it was IMDB rating 7,5 vs. 6,5. I´m not sure, if all my colleagues decide this way, still it turned out that [...]

Manga your office

Aug 21, 2008

As I really enjoy faceyourmanga and joined a group on flickr to post your avatars I came up with the idea to manga the whole office. That might take a while, but you’ll find the result on the “the NetCircle collection” on flickr. Here are the examples so far:

So please my colleagues send [...]

unintended Linux advertisement

Aug 20, 2008

I thought it´s funny enough to take a picture of the big billboard in Shanghai with this unintended advertisement, but I recently found out that there are people who actually find it a lot more funny and so I´ll share it here with you.
